Hype is picking up for the new title as we finally get closer to the EA Sports FC 24 release date! With the new season underway fans are eager to get their hands on the new title.
We've already covered an insane amount of content on EA FC 24, including player ratings, all 5-star skill players, and deep dives into your favourite game modes, with Ultimate Team, Career Mode, and Clubs all making a return following the divorce between EA and FIFA.
Here's everything we know about the EA Sports FC 24 release date so far.
EA FC release date
To the joy of millions of fans, we now know that EA FC 24 will launch on 29 September.
This date follows the pattern of previous FIFA releases from EA, with the game arriving in late September.
Early Access
EA FC 24 will come with seven days of early access for those who pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition before 22 August.
That means you can start playing from 22 September. Of course, it will cost you more to do so but if you are keen to get started in this new era of football gaming then that's the one to get!
The pre-order version also brings plenty of rewards. It includes a Champions League Hero card, 4,000 FC points, the Nike Ultimate team campaign, a Nike Ultimate team loan player, a special kit, and one Team Of The Week 1 player item.
Web App
The EA FC 24 Web App also releases on the 20 September, allowing for early SBC completion, and trading ahead of the games full release.
Players will have access to SBCs, the transfer market, and be able to set up their squad ahead of early access and the full release of EA FC 24. The Web App is a great way of trading early in the game too, however, it isn't possible to play any matches on the Web App.
Demo
Gamers of a certain age will remember demo discs and free trials, but things have changed. FIFA 21 was the first to release without a demo, and that continued with FIFA 22 and FIFA 23.
Given the rebrand to EA Sports FC, we thought there might be a demo this year, but that never happened. EA has instead attempted to drive subscriptions to its EA Play platform and also gifted some people access through the Beta.
EA Play trial
If you do want to try the new game before buying it, you can use the EA Play trial. This is a 10-hour trial that EA Play members can use to test every aspect of the game.
There are no limitations to this beyond the time you have the game open. So it's an opportunity to test new features and see if they are really worth your money, and also for those players who want an advantage in their Ultimate Team!
