WWE 2K22 Update 1.18 Patch Notes are a surprising arrival as more bug fixes deploy for the title across all platforms.
Here's everything we know so far about the WWE 2K22 Update 1.18 Patch Noes and what this arrival could be addressing in the title.
WWE 2K22 Update 1.18 Patch Notes (1.018) land on October 6
With the conclusion of WWE 2K22 DLC releases months ago, news for the title has slowed down significantly with few changes expected as many believe development is primarily focused now on the eventual launch of WWE 2K23.
However, it looks like 2K saw more issues they were ready to go ahead and fix with the arrival of WWE 2K22 Update 1.18 which comes more than a month after the last update.
WWE 2K22 Update 1.18 deployed on the morning of October 6 on all platforms, and it's Version 1.018 on PS5 though the Xbox version numbers are not yet known.

Download size for WWE 2K22 Update 1.18 seems decent but not overly significant with it clocking in at 6.26 GB on PS4 and 1.74 GB on PS5.
The last time an update deployed was WWE 2K22 Update 1.17 back on August 23, 2022, but that arrival was never given official patch notes by 2K that detailed what had been remedied.
The last time a significantly sized update arrived that 2K acknowledged was WWE 2K22 Update 1.16 which did get official Patch Notes detailing several reported issues and bugs that had been cleaned up.
As of now we don't have any official WWE 2K22 Update 1.18 Patch Notes from 2K, but they could arrive throughout the day to clear up what's been fixed this time.
WWE 2K23 development is likely the priority now
While it's good to see additional fixes arriving for WWE 2K22, it's doubtful we see any additional DLC or major content arrivals again.
WWE 2K22 will probably still get occasional content releases for MyFACTION, but substantive changes to the game will probably be saved for next year's release.
With major roster changes happening all across WWE since Triple H took creative control, there's also likely no shortage of work to do on the WWE 2K23 roster.
That includes stars like Cody Rhodes who just missed the cutoff for WWE 2K22, but also arrivals in NXT and back on the roster that will need to be updated heading into WWE 2K23.
