How to springboard in WWE 2K23

WWE 2K23 is here, which means you can jump in right now and get started in your climb to the top of the WWE.

WWE games are all about recreating your favourite moments from WWE TV, and there's no surprise that many want to select their favourite cruiserweights and begin flying around the ring.

Top rope moves are one way to take the action to the skies, but springboarding is another great way to change up your offence.

With controls changing in recent years, we've got you covered for how to springboard in WWE 2K23.

How to springboard

It's worth noting that not every Superstar can perform springboard moves in WWE 2K23.

Most of the time, you'll want to be using a cruiserweight when looking to pull off the most outrageous of moves.

In order to execute a springboard move, you will need to be inside the ring and your opponent will need to be outside the ring.

If you want to do springboard moves with a specific superstar go ahead and check their full move-set for details, and with a created superstar in MyRISE or elsewhere you'll need to set these up yourself if desired.

When using a superstar with access to springboard moves, press LB on Xbox or L1 on PlayStation when near the ropes to grab them and put yourself in a position for a springboard move.

When holding the ropes, press LB+X/L1+Square to trigger the move.

You'll be able to do springboard moves from the ring ropes towards your opponent, from the corner to your opponent in the ring, from the apron into the ring, from the apron to ringside, and from inside the ring to an opponent at ringside.

Running Springboards

If a standard springboard isn't enough for you, you can take things to the next level and attempt a running springboard.

This move gives you a bit more momentum and looks incredibly impressive when pulled off correctly.

You can do springboard moves off the ropes at any point by running towards the ropes and pressing any attack button X/A/Y or Square/Circle/X just before your character would run into the ropes.

The timing is definitely challenging, but perfecting this move is certain to lead to some incredible results in WWE 2K23.
