Release Date CONFIRMED

A release date has finally been set for AEW Fight Forever!

AEW Fight Forever will release on June 29, meaning there's only a month to wait until this game releases.

A game that has been shrouded in mystery since its reveal, AEW Fight Forever has been highly anticipated but has come under fire for a lack of clarity.

With a release date incredibly close to being confirmed, we could finally see the wheels start moving on this major wrestling title.

AEW Fight Forever

The biggest question everyone will have is exactly when the game will arrive, and for some time it's looked like the most likely AEW Fight Forever release date would be September 2022.

This came per a report by Fightful Select, but with no date announced at Gamescom 2022 or Tokyo Game Show, it's become clear the title has needed further development time.

Cover Stars

The biggest early detail to leak may be that one Xtralife listing revealed the full AEW Fight Forever cover design just ahead of the official announcement.

As seen below, they unveiled a combo cover featuring CM Punk at the center with Kenny Omega, Chris Jericho, Jon Moxley, Jade, and Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. around him.

However, the increasingly complicated situation with CM Punk's potential departure from All Elite Wrestling may see some changes.

Previously unveiled cover star CM Punk was missing entirely from the trailer, and that included a final image similar to previously shown box art for the game.

We've got more details here on what this move could mean for the AEW Fight Forever cover and CM Punk's presence in the title.

That potential cover now sits in limbo with the noted absence of CM Punk from the latest trailer.
