A brand-new episode will soon be coming to Valorant with the release date of episode 6 act 1 soon approaching.

Updates to acts are usually smaller compared to a brand-new episode, so we should expect more content in episode 6.

We have some bits of information that Riot Games have officially stated about the new episode.

With what players should expect with a new map, changes to the ranked system and map rotations, this will be a busy one.

Additionally, there will also be a new battle pass complete with its own weapon collections.

Valorant Episode 6 Act 1 Release Date

Episode 5 Act 3 of Valorant has scheduled to finish on January 5 2023.

This removal will shortly follow the addition of the new episode 6 into the live game on the same day.

So we should expect episode 6 of Valorant to go live on January 5 2023.

Split was recently removed due to some game-changing bugs for players in the community.

However, the fan favourite will be returning in episode 6 but with the removal of Bind and Breeze.

This means that players will have to begin that ranked climb once again to ensure that their MMR stays healthy.

It is also expected that the new Premier game mode will launch on January 5 2022.

A new episode means new content, and we should expect Riot to celebrate the new episode with a new collection of weapon skins.

There will also be a new battle pass which we will find out more of on the official release date.

Riot Games are trialling a new smurf detection system which is set to improve players' experience.

This hasn't been confirmed to arrive in the new episode but we do expect to see this now or very soon.
