Lindsey's Swindon Town departure: As it happened
Scott Lindsey's time as Swindon Town has been largely unspectacular with the Robins matching their pre-season ambitions of being serious playoff contenders, but rarely standing out in a competitive field of top-seven candidates.
Lindsey will be the second manager to leave the County Ground in the space of just over six months, following Ben Garner out the door as he opts to join relegation-threatened Crawley Town.
Crawley have endured a shambolic start to the campaign and have already fired two managers this season. Kevin Betsy lasted mere months in charge, while Matthew Etherington's tenure was even shorter.
