Real Madrid will welcome Barcelona to the Bernabeu on October 16th, 2022 before heading to the Nou Camp for the return fixture on March, 19th 2023.

La Liga 2022/23 Key Dates

As is the case for every major European league, La Liga's start date has been pushed forward to accommodate for the 2022 Qatar World Cup.

The opening day of the 2022/23 La Liga season will therefore take place on August 12th. Following the weekend of November 12th-13th, La Liga will take a break as players begin their final preparations for the Qatar World Cup.

La Liga will return to action on December 29th, 2022, just in time for a packed New Year's schedule and will then run uninterrupted until the end of the season on June 4th, 2023.
