After rumours spread earlier in the year of an upcoming collaboration, PUMA has now officially revealed a sneaker and apparel collection in partnership with Pokémon.

PUMA has said it's taken inspiration from all of the fan favourites, including Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Gengar, and of course Pikachu, Ash Ketchum's first Pokémon and loyal companion throughout the anime series.

Graphics can be found of each of the Pokémon throughout the apparel as well as on the Slipstream, Suede, Rider FV, and TRC Blaze Court shoes.

PUMA has also mentioned it has hidden several easter eggs on the tongues, insoles, and heels of the shoes to give fans a little extra surprise once they unbox their shoes for the first time.

What kind of easter eggs has PUMA added? Well, let's take a closer look at the collection to find out. Here's everything we know about the Pokémon x PUMA collaboration so far...

Pokémon x PUMA Collection Release Date

As announced during PUMA's press release, the entire Pokémon collection is available now as of 12 November 2022.

The capsule has launched in full family sizing, meaning everyone from adults to toddlers will be able to enjoy their favourite Pokémon on their clothing.

However, we'd recommend acting fast if you're interested in picking up some of the items in the collection because, being a high-profile collaboration, there's a chance the shoes and clothing could sell out pretty quickly.

If you're undecided on whether or not the collection is for you though, then perhaps a closer look at the designs will help you come to a decision.

Pokémon x PUMA Collection Designs

As touched on, a full collection of Pokémon-themed apparel and sneakers has been revealed inspired by some of the original 150 Pokémon.

More specifically, you'll find several nods to the Kanto Region starters throughout the collection.

For instance, you can find Charmander, Bulbasaur, and Squirtle graphics on the apparel and shoes, alongside Pikachu who appears on the RS-Xs and the Rider FVs as seen below.

You'll also notice the final evolutions of the original starters also appear on some of the apparel alongside Gengar and Gastly, two ghost-types which completely contrast the original starters.

PUMA notes it's added textured prints to items like the sherpa jacket and sweatpants to add an extra tactile detail to the apparel.

The collection of clothing also includes cotton T-shirts, relaxed crews, and hoodies, all of which feature graphics from some of the most beloved Kanto Region Pokémon.

Finally, PUMA has unveiled a selection of colourful beanies and messenger bags which coordinate with the tones and colours of the featured Pokémon.

Pokémon x PUMA Collection Price

PUMA has confirmed that the Pokémon x PUMA collection's price ranges from 30 to 130 EUR depending on the product and size.

For instance, the Charmander-themed Slipstreams are priced at $100, putting them in line to be considered some of the best sneakers under 100 around in our opinion, while Pre-School versions of the Bulbasaur Future Riders cost $60.

Hoodies then cost $80 in adult sizes, sweatpants cost $70, and tees cost $35. Check out the PUMA store for more information on prices.

Where To Buy The Pokémon x PUMA Collection

It's been confirmed that the Pokémon collection is available at PUMA, Foot Locker, and other select retailers.

Alternatively, check out the resale market at StockX, specifically the Rider FVs and the RS-Xs which are listed right now, if you're looking for an alternative place to buy.
