Horizon Forbidden West: Cradle of Echoes Console Code

While most of the puzzles in Horizon Forbidden West are of a platforming or combat nature, some are more traditional, requiring you to find things like passcodes and move objects. One of those is the Console Code in Horizon Forbidden West's Cradle of Echoes quest, which you'll need to work out. Here's what it is and how to work it out for yourself.

Do note, there will be some spoilers for the mid-game story in Guerilla's game down below, so don't read on if you haven't reached the Cradle of Echoes quest.

Horizon Forbidden West Cradle of Echoes Console Code

This console which requires a code comes near the end of the mission, when you're trying to find Beta ahead of the Zeniths.

As you go to input the a code into the console, you'll hear an announcement saying that there are 236 files for you to access in the building. You'd think that the code is 236, but it is not.

Instead, the Cradle of Echoes console code is 237.

You can work that out by looking at the datapoint message that you received from Beta earlier in the quest.

To access it, press the touchpad on your controller, go to the Notebook tab, select Datapoints and scroll down to Text Datapoints - Quests. The message from Beta in it will say that 237 is the code.

Beta was hiding it from the Zeniths, who are trying to collect GAIA and the other components. She's hidden in a capsule in the warehouse, alongside a component, and changed the data so that there are only 236 capsules, officially.

By inputting 237 into the console, the 237th capsule will be brought down for you to check out, which will continue the quest and Horizon Forbidden West's story.
