If you're itching to play MLB The Show 22 but are an Xbox Game Pass subscriber, there's a challenging dilemma for some players.

While the game itself will be free for Xbox Game Pass subscribers, the only way to snag Early Access and play four days early had previously been to buy the full MVP or Digital Deluxe Edition of the game.

What if MLB The Show 22 leaves Xbox Game Pass?

Of course, like many discounts and special access bundles, there's always the worry of "what's the catch?"

Well, with the MLB The Show 22 Xbox Game Pass Early Access Bundle the catch is that your access to the game remains permanently linked to Xbox Game Pass.

That means if you are no longer a subscriber, or if MLB The Show 22 is removed from their service in the future, you will lose access to the game itself.

However, the latter possibility isn't as worrisome as it may appear, as MLB The Show 21 has yet to be removed from Xbox Game Pass and these titles appear to be set for the long haul.
