MLB The Show 22 Update 1.07 is the next up to remedy lingering bugs and glitches since launch.
With major issues still plaguing some users, here's everything we know so far about the release of MLB The Show 22 Update 1.07 Patch Notes.
Latest - Game Update 7 Patch Notes Revealed
After some speculation about what MLB The Show 22 Update 1.07 could bring to the table, it has now deployed on all platforms.
Dubbed Game Update 7, it's bringing a new batch of bug fixes and some quality of life improvement to the user interface.
MLB The Show 22 Update 1.07 Release Date
Following the release of Update 1.06 back on May 20, there have unfortunately continued to be issues for some players.
The next up will be MLB The Show 22 Update 1.07, and we can look at their previous updates this year to get an idea of when it could arrive.
Looking back, Update 1.06 happened to arrive the same day as the Halladay and Friends Featured Program kicked off.
Update 1.005 was a bit of an outlier as it was more of a hotfix for the 120hz issue plaguing next gen players which had actually been created by the previous update.
With all of that in mind, we expect MLB The Show 22 Update 1.07 Patch Notes will be released with deployment by Friday, June 3, 2022, which is when Halladay & Friends concludes.
This tends to work in tandem by allowing Sony San Diego to get in any assets needed for the new program while simultaneously addressing existing issues.
Patch Notes have a flurry of crashes to finally fix
While plenty of bugs and glitches have been addressed since MLB The Show 22 first arrived, some users haven't been as lucky.
Since the release of Update 1.06, the following issues continue to be reported:
- Sudden game crashes across Franchise, March to October, and Diamond Dynasty
- Programs not progressing properly across multiple modes
- Co-op continuing to having connection and gameplay issues
- Green or white dots on the faces of players
- Constant freezing when playing games online
- Ranked Seasons not properly tracking innings played
- Multiple Ballplayer Loadout and Archetype glitches
- Pitch selection graphic missing
While these issues aren't affecting every single player, they've continued to persist for some since the last update.
Sony San Diego normally releases patch notes ahead of update deployment, so we should learn what's being addressed just before Update 1.07 goes live.
