With more bugs to deal with, MLB The Show 22 Update 1.06 will be the next patch to address ongoing issues.

We're looking ahead to the likely release date for the MLB The Show 22 Update 1.06 Patch Notes and what they'll hopefully be addressing.

MLB The Show 22 Update 1.06 Patch Notes Release Date

To get an idea of when MLB The Show 22 Update 1.06 will arrive, we first have to look at the updates they've already delivered this year.

MLB The Show 22 Update 1.03 was the first major patch after launch, and it arrived on Wednesday, April 13, 2022.

It was followed just under two weeks later by MLB The Show 22 Update 1.04 on Tuesday, April 26, 2022.

There was a much smaller window with the release of Game Update 5, or MLB The Show 22 Update 1.005, as it was a hotfix to address a new bug that had been created by Game Update 4.

MORE FIXES: Issues still remain that players want remedied

That hotfix was pushed out on Sunday, May 1, 2022, and it specifically addressed next gen only without giving any fixes for current gen versions of MLB The Show 22.

The version numbers on these can vary a bit from system to system, but we expect Update 1.06 to be the next arrival on PS4, and it should be dubbed Game Update 6 by the developers.

With the timing of previous updates in mind, we expect MLB The Show 22 Update 1.06 to have a release date around Tuesday, May 17, 2022.

This may vary depending on where devs are at with the game's remaining issues, but it's likely a window they're targeting.

Mini Seasons bug still desperately needs to be fixed

There are a handful of lingering bugs still plaguing players, but none seems more prevalent or frustrating than those in Mini Seasons.

The brand new game mode added to Diamond Dynasty this year allows players to compete over a condensed season against CPU-controlled lineups made by other players.

Unfortunately, many have had issues since launch with wins not counting properly, but that's not the only issue.

On top of singular win bugs, many players are reporting an "unhandled server exception error" popping up sometimes at the conclusion of a season.

One user reported that the issue had happened in three consecutive Mini Seasons attempts at the championship game, which must be extremely frustrating.

With server stability always looking to be improved, hopefully Mini Seasons will get some much-needed care in Game Update 6.
