MLB The Show 22 Roster Update: Mike Trout DETHRONED, five new Diamonds (June 10)

After just over two weeks of action, another MLB The Show 22 roster update has arrived and royalty has fallen with Mike Trout taking a major drop.

We've got all the details on the June 10 MLB The Show 22 roster update and which player ratings have changed.

MLB The Show 22 Roster Update dethrones Mike Trout as top rated (June 10)

While much of the focus each week tends to turn towards new Diamonds and other upgrades at that level, there's a fight at the top in MLB The Show 22.

The Live Series cards in Diamond Dynasty represent the ratings earned based on each player's active MLB performances, and at the start of the season we once again saw Mike Trout at the top.

Unfortunately, that reign has officially ended as Trout took a major multi-point ratings dive this week (after several other falls in recent updates) and fell three spots to new king Aaron Judge.

Aaron Judge now takes the top spot among Live Series cards in Diamond Dynasty at 95 OVR with Jose Ramirez and Ronald Acuna Jr. tied for second at 94 OVR, and ultimately Trout now demoted to fourth at just 93 OVR.

We've also got movement elsewhere in this MLB The Show 22 roster update, as five players have earned Diamond status.

Pete Alonso, Aaron Nola, Kyle Tucker, Alek Manoah, and Joe Musgrove all saw upgrades that put them at 85 OVR ratings as new Diamonds.

It was a rougher day for others, as Carlos Rodon, Raisel Iglesias, and Kenley Jansen were all demoted from Diamond down to Gold tier in Diamond Dynasty.
