With the month of May now in the books, MLB The Show 21 has released new details about the May Monthly Awards Program and Lightning Winner Marcus Semien.

As baseball firmly heads into the summer months, the Toronto Blue Jays are fresh off a strong performance in May that was heavily boosted by Marcus Semien.

The team went a decent 14-13 on the month, but many of those wins were bolstered by Semien's 8 home runs and 22 RBIs in the month of May.

Semien also led the American League in AVG (.368), OPS (1.130), and WAR (2.3) in the month of May, earning him the honor as the Lightning May Monthly Awards winner for MLB The Show 21.

• 50 Points: Ramon Laureano (CF), 91 OVR, Oakland Athletics
• 60 Points: Corey Kluber (SP), 92 OVR, New York Yankees
• 70 Points: Jose Abreu (1B), 93 OVR, Chicago White Sox
• 80 Points: Zack Wheeler (SP), 94 OVR, Philadelphia Phillies
• 100 Points: Marcus Semien (2B), 96 OVR, Toronto Blue Jays

Moments & Missions

While you can earn some points by completing the Collection in this program of Topps Now and Monthly Awards players, your primary method of earning points will be through Moments and Missions.

Moments are all found within the program itself, and you'll actually launch the moment from the listing in the program.

Missions are a bit different, and require you to craft your Diamond Dynasty squad with the Missions in mind before playing in other game modes.
