MLB The Show may have come up seven months ago, but coinciding with the conclusion of the World Series - Hotfix 1.20 has been rolled out.
Let's check out the Patch Notes.
Update 1.20 Patch Notes
- Fixed an issue in Franchise mode where the CPU Roster Control menu was incorrectly locked after the Trade Deadline
- Teams with records surpassing 1000+ wins will now have their Win/Loss record display correctly in the pre-game presentations
We were hoping for more goodies after the LA Dodgers claimed a long-waited Commissioner's Trophy.
The Dodgers defeated the Tamp Bay Rays 4-2 in the World Series, their first title since 1988.
MLB The Show 20 - Is it Any Good?
The Show has been a quality game for a while now, and this year is no different.
Gameplay is smooth, the presentation is on point, and the sheer volume of options in controls, game type, and solo customization is off the charts.
All this is without trying out the new mode Showdown within Diamond Dynasty.
It's a triumph. Simplicity and functionality is put over gimmicky play, and it leads to a truly terrific sim game experience.
RealSport rating: 4 stars (out of 5)
Any news on 21?
We are about in that period directly between the release of MLB The Show 20 and 21.
There are some early murmurs on MLB The Show 21, however.
The title usually arrives in March to coincide with the start of the MLB season, but with the above tweeting saying to expect no news until the new year - we could see a later release date.
