Dead Space Remake COUNTDOWN - Release Time and Download Size

Dead Space is a long-running series, but the latest instalment will be more than a treat for fans, as it's finally done justice on next-gen hardware. The remake is designed with incredible graphics and no loading screens and will be every bit as terrifying as you expect.

Despite a delay, the release of the new game is right around the corner, so PC and next-gen players are very close to getting their hands on it. Here's everything you need to know about when it drops and how to download it.

Dead Space Remake Release Time

Fortunately for fans, the new game will unlock for all players at the same time around the world. Rather than a regional rollout, the launch time will be dictated by your time zone, so will be more convenient for some than others.

The Dead Space Remake will launch at 8 am PT/ 11 am ET / 4 pm GMT on January 27th, 2023. Unfortunately, this means that time zones from Beijing eastwards will actually receive the game a day later, on January 28th.

Bear in mid that this only applies to digital downloads, and if you're picking up a physical copy of the game, you'll be able to play it as soon as you have it. The release time will likely be similar, however.

Preload and Download Size

Fortunately for fans, the Dead Space Remake won't be too harsh on your hard drive, compared to many other 2023 releases. For consoles, the download will clock in at around 32 GB, while for PC it will be more in the region of 50 GB, slightly more, as we have come to expect.

The pre-load date for the game on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S are as follows:

• Xbox Series X|S: January 20, 2023, at 8 AM PT
• PS5 and PC: January 25, 2023, at 8 AM PT
