Balan Wonderworld was revealed last year and is a music themed platformer, developed by Balan Company and Arzest.
Some of the developers who are working on the game are best known for their work on the Sonic The Hedgehog series, as well as Phantasy Star, Nights Into Dreams, Pikmin, and Yoshi.
Balan Wonderworld was announced in July 2020 during the Xbox Showcase event.
The game is currently scheduled to launch on March 26th 2021.
It has been confirmed that the game will be multi-platform.
Balan Wonderworld will be released on PC via Steam, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
Check out the Balan Wonderworld trailer that was revealed during the Xbox Showcase event last year.
The trailer has a theatrical feel to it and really emphasises the impact that music will have on the game.
In the trailer we see that there will be over 80 unlockable costumes, granting new abilities.
From what we can see in the trailer, Balan Wonderworld has a Super Mario Galaxy and 3D Sonic feel to it, which is definitely not a bad thing considering the Galaxy series is critically acclaimed and highly regarded among fans.
