All the players in this list are aged 21 and under at the start of FM22, meaning there's plenty of time for you to turn them into world beaters.

The best AMCs

For now, we're focusing on central attacking midfielders.

Many of the players in this list will be able to play on the wing, in midfield, or even up front - but their most natural position will be AM (C).

Check out some of our other recommended wonderkids here.

Club: Manchester City

Value: £40 million

FM21 CA/PA: 152/175

After starring at the European Championships with England and winning the Premier League with Manchester City, we're guessing Phil Foden's potential ability and price tag will increase significantly in FM22.

But if you choose to manage the Citizens - or make him your marquee signing at another club - you'll have one of the best wonderkids in the world on your hands.

His dribbling (15), first touch (17) and passing (16) is already world class, and at just 21 years old, there's plenty more to come.

Pedri

Club: Barcelona

Value: £16 million

FM21 CA/PA: 143/190

At just 18, Pedri is quickly becoming a key player for both Barcelona and Spain.

His 18 flair, 17 dribbling and 16 technique puts him right up there with some of the best players in the world.

But with a release clause of £121 million, you'll need a club with deep pockets to prise him away from the Camp Nou.

Lee Kang-In

TRICKY - Lee's flair is a great asset

Club: Valencia

Value: £6.75 million

FM21 CA/PA: 130/170

South Korean youngster Lee Kang-In has great technique (16), flair (17) and dribbling (16) at just 20 years of age, and can be moulded into a winger or attacking midfielder, thanks to his versatility.

Another hefty release clause (£80 million), but with a potential ability of 170, he should be worth every penny.

Hamed Junior Traore

Club: Sassuolo

Value: £5 million

FM21 CA/PA: 130/170

One of the cheaper options on this list, Hamed Junior Traore is comfortable using either foot and has great physical attributes.

Aged 21, there's still plenty of time to develop Traore into a superstar attacking midfielder.

Reinier

Position: AM (C)

Club: Borussia Dortmund (on loan from Real Madrid)

Value: £1.2 million

FM21 CA/PA: 125/180

If a player is Brazilian and goes by one name, chances are he's going to be good.

And that should be the case with Dortmund's 19 year old Reinier, who already has 15 dribbling, 15 first touch and 14 passing.

Unfortunately, his club has inserted a release clause of £96 million - but he could be worth much more than that a few years down the line.

Mohammed Kudus

The Ajax youth system is known throughout the world as a producer of incredible talent, and Mohammed Kudus looks set to continue that trend.

The Ghanaian midfielder has excellent dribbling (15), acceleration (16) and agility (15), and looks ready to make the step up to one of the bigger European leagues.

Mikkel Damsgaard

Club: Sampdoria

Value: £1.9 million

FM21 CA/PA: 134/170

Able to play anywhere in midfield and up front, you'll struggle to find a more versatile talent than Mikkel Damsgaard.

The 21-year-old was the star of Denmark's incredible Euro 2020 run, and judging by his strike against England in the semi final, his free kick taking attribute (11) will surely be upgraded.

Gavi

Club: Barcelona

Value: £200k

FM21 CA/PA: 95/170

The second La Masia product on this list, Gavi recently made his international debut against Italy, aged just 17.

He was one of the youngest players in FM21 aged 15, and we're not saying it's destiny, but Gavi rhymes with Xavi. And he turned out to be pretty good.

Ryan Gravenberch looks to be following in the footsteps of fellow Dutchman and Ajax product Frenkie de Jong.

His 15 first touch, 15 technique and 13 passing make him a great playmaker, who can also drop deep and control the game.
