FIFA 23's Team of the Season (TOTS) campaign is well underway in Ultimate Team and EA is rolling out the juiced-up major league squads in packs.
With the likes of Vinicius Jr, Eder Militao and Robert Lewandowski set to feature, FUT players are eagerly anticipating the release of the La Liga TOTS squad.
Well, it seems they don't need to wait any longer... The latest in a catalogue of EA mishaps has resulted in certain Team of the Season cards hitting packs ahead of schedule.

We're taking a look at the error and what impact it has on the affected FUT 23 players moving forward.
Like Christmas come early
The La Liga TOTS squad was scheduled to be released on Friday, 19 May at the usual time of 1pm ET / 6pm BST, as the FUT loading screen confirmed.
However, Ultimate Team players have been packing the unreleased TOTS items left, right and centre.
It seems EA has accidentally added the La Liga Team of the Season items to the Guaranteed TOTS Pack from the Daily Login Upgrades as well as Guaranteed TOTS Loan Player Packs.
That means we now have fully fledged La Liga Team of the Season cards in the game with confirmed boosted stats.
For example, we know that Robert Lewandowski has a 97 OVR TOTS card with 99 Shooting, 93 Dribbling, 90 Pace, 90 Physicality and 86 Passing.
Understandably, plenty of FIFA players have reacted positively to the latest EA mishap, as they've landed themselves a top-tier card ahead of schedule.
Compensation Incoming
Whilst it may seem silly to compensate players who have just packed a Team of the Season item in Ultimate Team, EA will likely need to act on the situation.
Due to the fact that users were not supposed to be able to acquire La Liga TOTS items in guaranteed TOTS Packs, we expect EA to hand out another free pack to those affected.
The players affected will also likely be able to keep their La Liga TOTS cards.
Unfortunately for the players impacted, EA has disabled matchmaking with any La Liga Team of the Season items in any squads for the time being.
That means you cannot play with a La Liga TOTS item until the squad is officially released into packs on Friday, 19 May.
La Liga TOTS Leaks
Whilst we now have several confirmed La Liga Team of the Season players thanks to the EA error, not every card has been revealed via the early release.
The Ultimate Team leakers have been at it yet again, though, and have unveiled pretty much the entire La Liga squad as well as some SBC and Objective players.
