The international break can often be straightforward for the big teams, however now and then a shock is thrown into the mix.
This week’s FIFA 20 Ultimate Team of the Week (TOTW) will contain a mixture of stars who excelled for their country over the past week.
Each week, EA will select a squad of 23 of the best performing players from the past seven days and give them in-form (IF) cards which have increased ratings.
These players form the TOTW which is available to challenge for coins on FIFA Ultimate Team. These players are also available in packs and on the transfer market, so look out for them!
Kasper Schmeichel (OVR 83 – IF 86)
Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel helped Denmark shut out their Group D rivals Switzerland as the Scandinavians ran out 1-0 winners. The Danes now sit four points clear of the Swiss and have the Leicester goalkeeper to thank for much if that.
Schmeichel could get an IF card with an 86 OVR. His basic 83 OVR card can be bought for 2,100 coins on PS4 and 2,800 on Xbox One.
Thomas Meunier (OVR 82 – IF 85)
PSG defender Thomas Meunier helped Belgium keep the second clean sheet of their international break as well as scoring the opening goal. The athletic fullback continues to provide an attacking threat while completing his defensive duties diligently.
The 6’4” Belgian could get a boost to 85 OVR this week and is available for around 2,000 coins on both consoles.
Toby Alderweireld (OVR 87 – IF 89)
Away from the debacle continuing at Spurs right now, Toby Alderweireld also scored and helped the Red Devils keep two clean sheets to extend their record to seven games without conceding a goal. Belgium have established themselves as one of the world’s top sides and have a rock-solid defence to thank.
Alderweireld could receive an IF card with an 89 OVR. His 87 OVR card is available on the FUT transfer market for 21,000 coins on PS4 and 25,000 on Xbox One.
Jakub Brabec (OVR 73 – IF 79)
Czech centre back Jakub Brabec was the hero in their shock win over Group A leaders England as he nullified the threat of Harry Kane & co. Brabec got himself on the score sheet too in an all action display that puts the Czech Republic in a strong position to qualify for the summer’s European Championships.
Viktoria Plzen man Brabec is available for 650 coins on both PS4 and Xbox One and a potential IF card could see him get a 79 OVR.
Ilkay Gundogan (OVR 84 – IF 87)
German midfield maestro Ilkay Gundogan saved Germany from a potential banana skin when Emre Can received his marching orders after just 14 minutes against Estonia. Gundogan scored twice and picked up an assist as Germany saw off Estonia to keep pace with Netherlands at the top of their qualifying group.

Man City star Gundogan could see his OVR boosted to 87 this week while his 84 basic card is available for 7,000 coins on both consoles.
Georginio Wijnaldum (OVR 84 – IF 87)
Liverpool ace Georginio Wijnaldum played every minute of Netherlands victories over Northern Ireland and Belarus, scoring both goals in a 2-1 over the latter. The race for top spot with Germany is going to the wire after the Liverpool midfielder’s superb double.
Wijnaldum could be rewarded for his excellent displays with an IF card with 87 OVR. The midfielder’s basic card will cost 24,750 coins on PS4 and 26,750 on Xbox One.
Miralem Pjanic (OVR 86 – IF 88)
Another midfield double, this time from Bosnian playmaker Miralem Pjanic as his side beat Finland 4-1. The win over their Scandinavian counterparts leaves Bosnia just two points behind as the race for European Championship qualification heats up.
Pjanic could receive his first IF card of the season with an OVR of 88. His 86 OVR card is available for between 14,000 and 15,000 coins on both consoles.
Ruslan Malinovskiy (OVR 79 – IF 83)
Atlanta midfielder Ruslan Malinovskyi bagged both goals in Ukraine’s victory over Lithuania to maintain their unbeaten record in qualifying so far. The powerful midfielder secured the three points for his side with a dominant display to take his tally to three goals and four assists in qualifying.
The Ukrainian midfielder is worth 750 coins on PS4 and 1,200 on Xbox One and could get an IF card with 83 OVR.
John McGinn (OVR 75 – IF 80)
Aston Villa fan-favourite John McGinn registered his first international hat-trick as Scotland hammered San Marino 6-0. Although Scotland’s qualifying campaign has been inconsistent, the form of midfielder McGinn is a shining light for both club and country.

McGinn should receive his first place in TOTW this season with an 80 OVR card. His basic 75 card is available for 1,000 coins on PS4 and 1,300 on Xbox One.
Robert Lewandowski (OVR 89 – IF 91)
Goal Machine. Polish striker Robert Lewandowski just keeps scoring. Lewandowski’s hat-trick against Latvia took his tally to a phenomenal 18 goals already this season. Poland’s captain has helped his side secure qualification for this summer’s tournament with two games to spare.
Lewandowski should finally receive his first IF card of the season with an OVR of 91 following his stunning display. His basic 89 OVR card is worth 87,000 coins on both consoles, while his Bundesliga POTM card is available on completion of an SBC challenge.
Memphis Depay (OVR 84 – IF 87)
Memphis Depay ensured that the Netherlands overcame a spirited Northern Ireland side with two late goals in the 3-1 win. Injury kept him out of the Dutch victory over Belarus but they will hope to have him back before qualification comes to a close.
Man United flop Depay should see his super display rewarded with an IF card with 87 OVR. His basic card is available for just 7,000 coins on both consoles.
