FIFA 20 Ultimate Team: TOTW 3 Prediction – Oblak, Van Dijk, Mahrez & more

FIFA fans have been treated to a week of the new game so, making this TOTW the best yet.

With FIFA 20 now fully available on the mark, the new Ultimate Team is well underway with two Team of the Weeks (TOTW) having been released so far.

This week will be the first TOTW to last the whole week and could include Neymar, Jan Oblak and Riyad Mahrez to name but a few.

The evergreen Franck Ribery could also appear for the first time  – although he is yet to be added to the game. Brentford’s Ollie Watkins is a sure pick for the bench this week following his hat-trick taking his tally to seven goals this season.

Each week, EA will select a squad of 23 of the best performing players from the past seven days and give them in-form (IF) cards which have increased ratings.

These players form the TOTW which is available to challenge for coins on FIFA Ultimate Team. These players are also available in packs and on the transfer market, so look out for them!

Jan Oblak (OVR 91 – IF 92)

Jan Oblak was to blame for the lack of goals in this weekend’s Madrid derby as he repelled Real time and time again in the Atletico goal. The Slovenian stopper showed why he is ranked among the best in the world with a superb performance to keep the gap between their rivals at just one point.

Oblak should receive an overall of 92 this week on FIFA 20 Ultimate Team after keeping unbeaten Real Madrid at bay. His base card costs 41,000 coins on PS4 and 39,000 on Xbox One.

Matt Doherty (OVR 78 – IF 82)

Wolves claimed their first league win of the season at the weekend, with defender Matt Doherty the standout performer. Doherty set Wolves on their way with the opening goal and then helped shut out opponents Watford to ensure their miserable start to the season continues.

Irish international Doherty could receive an in-form card with an 82 overall, with his base item priced at 550 coins on PS4 and 500 on Xbox One.

Virgil van Dijk (OVR 90 – IF 91)

Dutch colossus Virgil van Dijk turned out his most important performance of the season so far, earning himself Man of the Match as Liverpool edged past Sheffield United. Van Dijk won 11 aerial duels and made eight clearances as he helped the Reds maintain their 100% record.

Already a great defender, Van Dijk could see an IF card worth 91 OVR this week. The Red defender currently sets you back 565,000 coins on PS4 and 500,000 on Xbox One.

James Tavernier (OVR 75 – IF 80)

Rangers right back James Tavernier bagged two penalties as his side thumped Aberdeen 5-0 at Ibrox on Saturday. The attack-minded defender has become one of the ‘Gers most important players and will be key if they are to push rivals Celtic all the way this season.

Tavernier may receive an IF card with 80 OVR following this weekend’s goal-scoring exploits. The Englishman requires 900 coins on both consoles.

Junior Firpo (OVR 79 – IF 83)

New Barcelona recruit Junior Firpo opened his account for the Catalan side as they saw off Getafe away from home. Firpo scored the second goal of the game and helped the Spanish champions record their first clean sheet in the league this season, despite the sending off of Clement Lenglet late on.

Ex-Real Betis left back Firpo could receive his first IF on FIFA 20 with an overall of 83, whilst his base card costs 3,000 coins on PS4 and 2,400 on Xbox One.

Sergei Milinkovic-Savic (OVR 85 – IF 87)

Lazio playmaker Sergej Milinkovic-Savic registered a goal and an assist as his side hammered Genoa 4-0. The big Serb was influential throughout in a free-scoring display that contrasted to their previous run of form in which they had only scored seven goals in the first five games.

Milinkovic-Savic is in contention to receive an 87 IF card on FIFA Ultimate TOTW, with his 85 item comes in at 11,000 coins on PS4 and 8,300 on Xbox One.

Miralem Pjanic (OVR 86 – IF 88)

Bosnian midfielder Miralem Pjanic scored his second goal in two games in a dominant display for Juventus which saw them retain 67% of possession. Pjanic’s all-round display and the return of Cristiano Ronaldo helped Juventus keep pace with early leaders Inter at the top of Serie A.

The classy Pjanic could get an 88 OVR if he makes it into FUT TOTW. His 86 gold card is priced at 9,500 coins on Xbox One and 10,000 on PS4.

Alejandro Gomez (OVR 85 – IF 87)

Atalanta captain Alejandro Gomez scored his first goals of the season with a brace at Sassuolo. High flying Atalanta sit third in Serie A after their 4-1 win at the weekend and will hope the pacey Argentine forward can continue his form. Gomez has provided three assists already this season to add to his goals at the weekend.

Gomez’s brace should see his overall shoot up to 87 if he is to receive an IF card this week. The attacking midfielder’s 85 base card is worth 26,500 coins on PS4 and 20,750 on Xbox One.

Riyad Mahrez (OVR 84 – IF 86)

Algerian ace Riyad Mahrez continued where he left off last week with another goal to take his tally to two goals and five assists in the league this season. The mercurial talent looks to be producing some of his best form in a Man City shirt to date, Premier League teams beware!

Mahrez could be rewarded for his form with an 86 rated IF card this week, with the right winger’s base card costing 21,000 coins on both PS4 and Xbox One.

Jamie Vardy (OVR 82 – IF 85)

Jamie Vardy is certainly having a party this week after netting twice as in-form Leicester dispatched a struggling Newcastle side. Vardy now has five goals already this season and is showing no signs of slowing down despite his retirement from international football.

Vardy could get an IF card with 85 overall as he continues to fire Leicester into top four contention. The ex-England international’s base card can be picked up for 26,000 coins on both PS4 and Xbox One.

Neymar (OVR 92 – IF 93)

Brazilian superstar Neymar has been the only PSG player to score since his return to the side from injury, registering three goals in four games – including two late winners. With PSG struggling for consistency they are fortunate to have their star man back and coming up clutch.

27-year-old Neymar could get a huge 93 OVR IF card on TOTW, with the left winger’s 92 gold card costing 729,000 coins on PS4 and 670,000 on Xbox One.
