Latest - Warzone The Haunting Playlist Update (October 19)
Warzone's The Haunting LTM is finally here and the full playlist update has been confirmed.
We already knew about the "Ghosts of Verdansk" mode, which is a lot like Zombie Royale, really. There's Ghosts instead of Zombies and Souls instead of Vaccines. The only real difference is the "Fear Meter" mechanic.
This is a gauge that gradually increases over time - but there are a few ways you can slow this down. When it hits 50%, the hallucinations start and there's going to be something spooky at 100%. It should add more progression to the jump scares and strange sightings in Verdansk - but we don't know if it's going to be scarier than Zombie Royale just yet.
The full The Haunting Playlist update for October 19 is:
- Ghosts of Verdansk
- Rebirth Resurgence Quads
- Payload - Promenade
- Battle Royale
EVENT START DATE - The Haunting is Live Now
This year's Halloween event is called "The Haunting" like last years', and it is live now.
The Call of Duty Blog has explained that the new event is going to take place on October 19th and it went live in-game at the following times:
- 10:00 PST
- 13:00 EST
- 18:00 BST
Throughout "The Haunting", players will have the chance to earn the LAPA SMG through in-game event challenges in both Warzone and Black Ops Cold War. There's also going to be Emblems, Weapon Charms, and Calling Cards up for grabs alongside a selection of Operator Bundles for both Black Ops Cold War and Modern Warfare Operators. If you missed out on Leatherface, for example, keep an eye on the Modern Warfare sections of Warzone's Store for these bundles as they return throughout the event and the seasonal period.
