When will Call of Duty 2021 be revealed?

Not much is known yet regarding the upcoming Call of Duty game, except we know it will happen as Activision have no missed a yearly Call of Duty release since 2005.

Leakers have given us some key information about what to expect.

When Will Call Of Duty 2021 Be Announced?

Tom Henderson, a credible Call of Duty leaker, has revealed that we will find out more details about Call of Duty 2021 around the middle of the year, likely during the summer.

In a tweet, Tom revealed how the game will be revealed saying,

"Call of Duty 2021 will be revealed "mid year" and is also going to be revealed via Warzone.

We're a while away from a reveal yet, best guess is probably August to coincide with the Black Ops Cold War reveal."

It will be interesting to see the game revealed within Call of Duty Warzone, perhaps through an in-game live event.

Who Will Be Developing?

Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War was developed by Treyarch, and, the previous title, Modern Warfare was developed by Infinity Ward.

Usually, we see a back and forth between the two studios, giving them two years to develop each game.

Because of this, we can expect Infinity Ward to be developing the next entry and will likely be another Modern Warfare title.

It is also rumoured that Raven Software will be co-developing alongside Infinity Ward.

Beta

Previous entries in the series have been revealed around August, followed by closed and open betas in August and September.

Looking at previous betas, we will likely see the betas launching first on PlayStation before coming to all platforms at a later date.

Platforms

Call of Duty 2021 will likely launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Battle.net.
