WWE 2k25 is adding intergender matches. The company posted a short video on their social channels featuring Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio teasing this brand-new feature.

WWE is slowly trickling information regarding the next 2k entry. A big reveal is set to happen on January 27 during the last Raw on Netflix before the Royal Rumble.

Among other things, WWE is expected to unveil the cover of WWE 2K25. If you've been following leaks, you probably already know that the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns is set to grace this year's cover.

Of course, fans want more than just a cover reveal. Teasing intergender matches would certainly be one of many features fans had been waiting for years, allowing them to create even more dream matches.

Take for instance WWE's latest signing: Penta. During his tenure at the highly underrated Lucha Underground promotion, where he wrestled under the name Pentagon Dark, he stepped into the ring with two current WWE female performers: Chelsea Green and Iyo Sky.

The company might not seem interested in making intergender wrestling a norm in real life. There have been attempts at making unique moments out of the idea, with female wrestlers appearing in the men's Royal Rumble match on occasion. Having said that, giving fans the option via 2k25 would allow for a more dynamic gameplay experience.

As an avid MyGM player from 2k24, the ability to book a Rhea Ripley vs Dominik Mysterio main event for one of my PPVs sounds like the kind of new addition that will considerably spruce up the mode.

Hopefully all of this and more is revealed on January 27. Considering last year's entry was released in early March, expect a similar timeframe this time around. WWE will certainly look to cash in on the Road to WrestleMania excitement once again.
