The WWE revealed two brand-new titles today on X via Triple H's (Paul Levesque) account. The new WWE ID Champions will defend these shiny gold prizes.

WWE ID is part of WWE's initiative to find new Superstars to join the ranks and give them a clear career path to the WWE. Independent wrestling schools will be officially designated as WWE ID to guide new trainees and existing talent at these select institutions with enhanced developmental opportunities.

According to WWE ID's posts, the two lovely looking additions to WWE's ever-growing trophy cabinet will be the company's most well-travelled titles.

@WWEID posted, "The 1st WWE ID Champions will be determined in a tournament across the top independent wrestling promotions. The WWE ID Championships will then be defended on the indies. Stay tuned to this account for more news soon."

This makes things very interesting at a time when TNA and WWE already have shook hands on a multi-year talent-sharing deal that resulted in the Prestigious One Joe Hendry entering the men's 2025 Royal Rumble.

Having two new championships that can be taken around the globe and defended in regional wrestling promotions is another showing of the change of the guard at WWE HQ.

WWE-branded titles showing up across multiple wrestling shows is a fantastic idea that will spread the name of the company wider than ever before.

During the era of Vince McMahon, even mentioning another companies name on WWE TV was a huge no no. It will be interesting to see how much support and promotion WWE puts behind these new titles.

HHH and the Endeavor Group seem to have the right idea of how to get as many eyes on the product as possible, the biggest move for them of late was moving their shows off of the WWE Network onto Netflix - a platform in more houses worldwide than even basic cable.

We will be sure to keep you updated here at RealSport 101 as the inaugural WWE ID Champions are crowned.
