MLB The Show 22 Supercharged Diamond Dynasty Player Ratings

Diamond Dynasty has thrived in recent years with the Live Series core set of cards that see their ratings adjusted with a roster update every two weeks.

They've had an Inside Edge boost in the past for specific matchups, but this year MLB The Show 22 is adding the all-new Supercharged feature.

Throughout the year, players that have a truly spectacular and memorable game for the ages will get a temporary Supercharged Diamond Dynasty Ratings boost.

SUPERCHARGED: Only certain players will get this time-limited boost

As explained when the feature was announced, these will be fairly rare throughout the season and only go towards the few players who have truly standout performances.

Once given a boost, that player will receive a limited attribute increase (usually for just 48 hours), and it can be massive with up to a 30-point increase to any key attributes that played into their moment.

Opening Day triggered several Supercharged players

While it was explained that this boost will be relatively rare throughout the majority of the MLB season, they're breaking that rule right out of the gate.

Opening Day was the exception, as they chose seven different games that had one Supercharged player.

These Opening Day (April 7) games had one player chosen to be Supercharged in MLB The Show 22:

  • Milwaukee Brewers at Chicago Cubs
  • New York Mets at Washington Nationals
  • Cleveland Guardians at Kansas City Royals
  • Pittsburgh Pirates at St. Louis Cardinals
  • Cincinnati Reds at Atlanta Braves
  • Houston Astros at Los Angeles Angels
  • San Diego Padres at Arizona Diamondbacks

If you're diving into Diamond Dynasty this weekend, be sure to keep an eye out for these Supercharged players who could briefly become huge assets for your lineup.

The boosts are expected went live on the evening of April 7, 2022, and expired on the evening of April 9, 2022.
