MLB The Show 21: 9th Inning Program Start Date & Time
With just a few short days left to finish up the 8th Inning Program and snag rewards by earning XP in Diamond Dynasty, all eyes are turning to what's next.
With consistency from Sony San Diego since launch, we know exactly when to expect the 9th Inning Program in MLB The Show 21.
Release Date & Start Time: Friday, November 12, 2021 at Noon PT (2pm CT/3pm ET)
Expected End Date: Friday, December 10, 2021
While there have been a few to diverge, the standard length Sony San Diego has stuck to for most of these Inning Programs has been just four weeks.
They kept to that with the most recent as the 8th Inning Program is set to conclude its 4-week duration this Friday.
While we could see these final few Inning Programs extended, as of now we're still expecting the 9th Inning Program to last just four weeks before making way for the 10th Inning Program.
We also know, as confirmed by the above schedule in-game from MLB The Show 21, that the "Push the Button" stream revealing 9th Inning Program details will stream on YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook just half an hour before the program goes live in Diamond Dynasty.
9th Inning New Content Predictions
While we're missing specifics, we do know generally which types of content are coming, starting with a new Conquest Map which will provide extra XP for the program upon completion.
They're also planning a new Classics Choice Pack, which could include a lot of excellent player options of the past, but all eyes tend to go to the upcoming bosses.
With MLB The Show 21 and Diamond Dynasty firmly in the late game now, we can all but guarantee these three new 9th Inning Bosses will be 99 OVR cards.
Exactly who gets chosen is always difficult to predict, as many of the biggest legends names have already been thrown out by this point, but Sony San Diego probably still has some tricks up their sleeve.
While the Bosses don't always reflect current play, it wouldn't be surprising for one or more of the trio to be a player that dominated during the World Series or Postseason.
