FIFA 22: What to do in Ultimate Team this week

With many different tasks and game modes, FIFA 22 Ultimate Team can be a tricky place to prioritise your playtime in.

We have you covered, with this weekly look at all the objectives and SBCs, letting you know what to look out for and where to avoid.

Where possible we will also be highlighting how to combine multiple objectives, to streamline your play.

Monday

Weekend League rewards are available at 3am ET / 8am BST if you did not complete all your matches.

Shapeshifters cards are included in the player picks and packs, as well as the usual Team of the Season options.

After a slight delay, the FUT 23 Pre-Season promo is live, bringing another 100 'Best Of' re-released cards to packs, highlighting top summer transfers with boosted players in objectives and SBC, giving easy ways to earn high rarity packs, and of course, letting you earn rewards for FIFA 23.

The new Live FUT Friendly: Pre-Season Cup, with corresponding objectives, gives you player picks and packs as rewards to make the most of the promo, so make sure you play your allocated 10 matches a day until you've gained all the prizes.

The Warm Up to FUT 23 objective set requires you to complete a recurring SBC every 48 hours, which only requires a squad of Bronze players to unlock, but will reward you with 85+ Player Packs.

To complete a couple of the Summer Swaps III objectives you will need to play in the Live FUT Friendly: One Nation, which restricts you to play a maximum of four times a day, so again, max out on the games until the objectives are done.

The second set of Summer Swaps objectives will expire on Monday, 22 August, with the third batch leaving on Monday, 29 August, so play all the Squad Battles matches needed to gain as many tokens as possible.

Because we have many objectives that offer player pick and pack rewards, there was only one new objective player released.

The requirements for Player Moments Romelu Lukaku need to be completed in Squad Battles or Rivals, so you cannot combine them with the FUT23 Kick Start or Pre-Season Cup objectives.

You have until Friday, 26 August to complete the Lukaku and FUT23 Kick-Start objectives, so they should be first on your to-do list, with the Pre-Season Cup ones expiring on Saturday, 27 August.

The Summer Swaps 2 campaign continues, with the top rewards out now, so make sure you keep on top of all the token releases with our Summer Swaps 2 Token Tracker.

The SBCs to redeem your swaps against will stay live until Monday, 29 August at 1pm ET / 6pm BST, so there is still time to bring in more tokens.

Tuesday

Today is your last chance to bring in the Silver Stars objective player, which is Premium FUTTIES Khephren Thuram.

With the objectives being able to be completed in less than an hour it's definitely worth doing, as free players should never be sniffed at.

Wednesday

Team of the Week 36 was the last TOTW release of this season, so we will have to wait until FIFA 23 to see the regular in-forms release return.

A new Silver Stars card will be released, so get that completed and out of the way so you don't have to worry about it for the rest of the week.

Thursday

Division Rivals rewards will be released at 3am ET / 8am BST on Thursday, 25 August.

Division Rivals rewards will continue to include Team of the Season and 83+ OVR TOTW players from the whole season in the player pick pool if you finish Elite, due to TOTW no longer coming out.

Aside from that, it will be a quiet day for new content, so get all the objectives players completed, and qualify for FUT Champions if you plan to enter.

Friday

Weekend League will kick off at 3am ET / 8am BST and last until Monday, 29 August at 3am ET / 8am BST, so make sure you've qualified for that if you plan to enter.

The 'Pre-Season 100' Squad 1 cards will stay in packs for an additional week, so we don't expect any more re-releases to join them.

With the FUT 23 Pre-Season promo going into its second week, we should see more SBCs and objectives added, again celebrating big summer transfers and rewarding you with high-quality packs and player picks.

Saturday

If you've qualified for Weekend League then your day will be occupied with that.

Look to be hitting 51 points as a minimum, as the rewards get much better from that stage upwards.

Other than that, player objectives will be where you spend your time, competing in Squad Battles to earn better rewards for Sunday.

Sunday

Squad Battle rewards will be available at 3am ET / 8am BST, which could be quite good if you've been playing them for the player objectives.

Team of the Season cards will continue to be available as Squad Battle rewards but are restricted on rating unless you hit the Elite ranks or higher.

If you land anywhere between the Silver 2 and Gold 1 rank the TOTS reward will be pretty similar, so that should be your aim unless you want to go Elite.

Again, it will be another day of Weekend League and player objectives, Squad Battles or Division Rivals.
