Valorant Split Returns - old map returns but two more leave

A fan-favourite map in Valorant, Split, will soon return to the game but will remove two others.

Rotations in the game are key, not only for strategy but also maps.

This mechanic allows players to experience new scenery, learn better hotspots and memorise more options for battle.

A great rotation is happening soon with Split returning to the map pool.

However, what comes in, must also leave, as two other maps will be released to receive some new updates.

Riot is seeking to update its maps to keep gameplay fresh and unique.

Why are Breeze and Bind Removed?

The blog post went on to explain why these two maps are being removed.

Joe “Pearl Hogbash” Lansford stated that...

"For Breeze, we feel like this map has some room to improve in terms of Agents and team comp diversity, as well as some opportunities for simplification of the space. And for Bind, it’s mostly about strategic diversity. We’d like to open up more play around the teleporters and potentially rethink how teams execute, and defend against executes, on both sites."

When Does Split return to Valorant?
