New Air Jordan 1 KOs, also known as the AJKOs, have been revealed via Nike SNKRS for their release, offering us a closer look at the striking "Syracuse" design.
The new orange and white colourway will join a limited range of AJKO's which include Jordan's collaboration with Billie Eilish towards the end of last year, plus a whole host of new and unique 1's like the "Inside Out" mid-tops.
Having said that, we'll solely be discussing everything we know so far about the "Syracuse" sneakers in this article, so, without further delay, let's kick things off with the release date...
Air Jordan 1 KO Syracuse Release Date
The listing on Nike SNKRS confirms that the AJKOs are available now as of 5 August 2022.
We'd recommend acting fast if you're interested in picking up a pair because, given their unique design, these Jordan 1s might sell out fast.
Air Jordan 1 KO Syracuse Design
These AJKOs come dressed in a very similar colour palette and blocking to the "Syracuse" Dunk Highs, hence earning them their name.
Unlike the Dunk Highs though, these Jordan's are primarily constructed out of white canvas with bright orange overlays.
You do, however, get some leather elements, for example, the orange Swooshes and ankle collars which contain the usual Jordan brand 'Wings' insignias.
Elsewhere, you'll find the typical Nike patches stitched to the tongues, plus the size and number stenciled into the medial side collar.
The sneakers then sit on top of the Nike Air units contained within the white midsoles, while underfoot you get bright orange outsoles to match the two-tone colour scheme of these AJKO's.
Air Jordan 1 KO Syracuse Price
Despite early rumours the shoes would cost $140, Nike SNRKS has confirmed the "Syracuse" 1s retail for $150 in adult sizing.
It's unclear to us just yet whether smaller and subsequently cheaper kid's sizes will also be made available, so stay tuned for further updates once we find out more right here.
Where To Buy Air Jordan 1 KO Syracuse
As mentioned, you can find these AJKOs listed on the Nike SNKRS launch page right now, so we'd recommend checking for them in stock their first.
If they end up selling out before you're able to pick up a pair, then we'd suggest checking out the resale market at StockX as an alternative place to buy.
