Konami update EURO 2020 squads in Data Pack 7

Konami has just announced that Data Pack 7 has arrived in PES 2021, coinciding with the advancement to the EURO 2020 Round of 16.

So, check out everything that the new Data Pack includes below.

PES 2021 Data Pack 7

Konami has announced that the EURO 2020 squads have been updated with the full national team squads, based on the final 26 chosen players for each team, including some brand new additions to the game.

As the official videogame partner of the tournament, Konami has exclusivity when it comes to EURO 2020 so there is no competition from FIFA.

The new additions include the following:

• Ben White
• Mats Hummels
• Ethan Ampadu
• Giacomo Raspadori
• Jurrien Timber

The tweet from @officialpes also states that 100 more new additions have been included in Data Pack 7.

Not only can you now get the full matchday experience, but you can also add the Featured Players to your own squad too.

Final update?

This could be the final Data Pack we see released before the arrival of PES 2022, so Konami is sure to have something a little extra up their sleeves.

We can't wait to see what PES 2022 will look like after Konami released a Season Update rather than a brand-new game this season.

PES 2022 will be optimised for next-gen consoles PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, so at the very least it will look incredible thanks to the extraordinary graphic capabilities of both consoles.

The new(ish) consoles also have blazing fast loading times too, allowing you to just jump in and out of games at the drop of a hat.

PES 2022 Demo-Trial

Konami has released an Open Beta Test under the name 'New Football Game' into the PlayStation and Xbox stores.

The official statement from Konami reads as follows:

KONAMI is proud to announce that a new football experience is on its way! To prepare for its launch, we'll be running an open beta prior to the game's official launch, as described below.

The purpose of this beta test is to evaluate the quality of the online matchmaking and connection to the servers.

Please note that gameplay mechanics, balancing, animations and graphics are all under development and will be improved before the official launch.

With all that out of the way, we would like to invite you to participate in this open beta, and we would greatly appreciate it if you could share with us your thoughts and feedback on your experience.
