Initially revealed at BlizzCon 2019, the next installment of the Diablo franchise, Diablo 4, has long since been sought out. Now, not only do players finally get to enjoy the new title come June 6, players can get to play the game early with the Diablo 4 beta.

Like any other Blizzard Entertainment beta, players will get to test out the biggest and latest features coming with the new game. The Diablo 4 beta will bring something completely new to the Diablo IP.

With that in mind, let's countdown the release of the Diablo 4 beta.

Diablo 4 Beta Release Date & Time

The Diablo 4 beta occurs two separate times. First, on the weekend of March 17, and second on the weekend of March 24.

BETA RELEASE: The Diablo 4 Beta happens twice

Players who pre-ordered Diablo 4 will get early access to the beta on Friday, March 17, 2023, through Sunday, March 19, 2023. After that, the beta will be available to everyone on both PC and consoles the following weekend from Friday, March 24, 2023, through Monday, March 27, 2023.

Diablo 4 Beta (First Phase)

The beta will begin at 12:00 p.m. EST and end at 2:00 p.m. EST on both of the March 19 and 27 end dates. The Diablo 4 beta will be available on the Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4 consoles, and on PC via the Battle.net app.

How to play the Diablo 4 Beta

Players can play the Diablo 4 in two ways.

As mentioned before, players can gain access to the beta by pre-purchasing Diablo 4. Pre-purchasing Diablo 4 will give you an Early Access code which can be redeemed on the Diablo 4 beta side.

EARLY ACCESS: The Diablo 4 beta is early for those who pre-ordered

With the provided code, players will be able to play the Diablo 4 beta early starting on Friday, March 17.

Those who didn't pre-order Diablo 4 can wait to play the beta on Friday, March 24, once it's available to everyone. Blizzard hasn't released any details surrounding how to join the all-access Diablo 4 beta. Be sure to tune in for that in the future.
