Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks: Lineup advice for October 11, 2017

Two great playoff games happening today just means there are plenty of great players who can bring you a win tonight.

There are two potential series-clinching games happening today, with the Chicago Cubs looking to deal the Washington Nationals another early exit and the New York Yankees expected to duke it out with the Cleveland Indians in a decisive Game 5.

But for all the great action going on today, who should you pick?

Best DFS MLB pitchers for October 11, 2017

A tempting option here is Indians ace Corey Kluber, who is expected to be back in top form after lasting less than three innings in Game 2. There’s just one problem, he’s pricey at $11,800. That said, pursue the following option instead.

Jake Arrieta vs Washington Nationals: $7,200 DraftKings, FPPG- 15.1

Arrieta is a former Cy Young winner and should have the advantage in the friendly confines of Wrigley Field this afternoon. The righty got knocked around in his lone start against Washington this year but was also 5-2 with a 2.90 ERA at home. With a trip to the NLCS on the horizon, count on Arrieta to be in top form.

Best DFS MLB hitters for October 11, 2017

Now that the pitching is settled, time to pick the winning hitters.

Anthony Rizzo vs Washington Nationals: $5,200 DraftKings, FPPG- 9.3

Rizzo has been clutch as can be for the Cubs and has a home run with five RBI in the series already. He knocked in the go-ahead run in Game 3 and his two-run shot gave Chicago a lead in Game 2 before the bullpen gave it up. His team can take one step closer to defending its World Series championship with a win today, so count on him to be locked in.

Bryce Harper @ Chicago Cubs: $5,100 DraftKings, FPPG- 10.5

Just as Rizzo will be the go-to guy for Chicago, Harper will be that for Washington. He only has two hits in the series but one of them was the home run that tied Game 2, with Washington eventually winning 6-3. Harper also hit .333 against the Cubs this year, so he is due another strong performance so the series can head back to DC.

Greg Bird @ Cleveland Indians: $3,700 DraftKings, FPPG- 6.5

Bird is an absolute bargain. The Yankees first baseman has two home runs against the Indians’ elite pitching and is the reason New York won Game 3. It’s do-or-die for his team today, so look for him to further impress at the plate to make up for a regular season all but lost due to injury.
