Football Manager 2019 Wonderkids: Best Right Wingers & Left Wingers to Sign

There are a whole host of wonderkids on the wing in FM19. We list ALL the best wonderkid right wingers & left wingers to sign.

If you are on the hunt for a wonderkid, chances are that they are going to be wingers. Not that any position on a football pitch is easy, but there is more space out wide allowing young, pacey players to do plenty of damage. The added factor of a lack of fear for youngsters, there is significantly less risk of picking up a wonderkid winger on FM19.

How to find the best wonderkid wingers on Football Manager 2019

These are the best wonderkid wingers on Football Manager 2019. These are right wingers (AMR), right midfielder (MR), left wingers (AML) and left midfielders. Only players with a perfect 20 score in any of these positions have been included. All of these youngsters are in their teens (19 and younger) and have a Potential Ability (PA) rating of at least 140. You cannot view a player’s specific PA in-game, only a star rating which is reflective of the rest of your squad.

Right wingers (AMR) and right midfielders (MR)

You should recognise these promising youngsters on the right-hand side, with the majority of them already firing in Europe this season.

Kylian Mbappe (CA 173 – PA 196)

Age: 19

Positions: AM (R), ST, AM (L)

Club: Paris-Saint Germain

Country: France

Best stats: 20 pace, 19 acceleration, 18 flair

Value: £71 million

Wage: £322,000 a week

The most exciting talent in world football, Kylian Mbappe is a wonderkid who is already a world class player. The 19-year-old Frenchman won back-to-back league titles with Monaco then PSG, with a £140 million move between the two clubs in the middle. A World Cup triumph in France mean that all the right winger or striker needs to win in his career is a European Championship and a Champions League, aged just 19.

A 172 CA for Mbappe consists of 20 pace, 19 acceleration and 18 flair. A potential of 196 sees him receive a value of £71 million, along with wages of £322,000 a week, making the teenager very hard to get hold of.

Christian Pulisic (CA 147 – PA 164)

Age: 19

Positions: M (R), AM (R)

Club: Borussia Dortmund

Country: United States

Best stats: 16 aggression, 16 work rate, 16 first touch

Value: £22 million

Wage: £26,000 a week

Flying the flag for the United States, Christian Pulisic is the hottest talent from across the pond since the days of flop of Freddy Adu. Unlike Adu, Pulisic has had great success in Europe with Borussia Dortmund, representing the Bundesliga heavyweights over 100 times with 15 goals and 24 assists.

The 19-year-old has stats of 16 aggression, 16 work rate and 16 first touch on FM 19, giving him a CA of 147. This can improve to a PA of 164, meaning he is valued at a reasonable £22 million with wages of only £26,000 a week.

Reiss Nelson (CA 132 – PA 157)

Age: 18

Positions: M (R), AM (RC)

Club: Hoffenheim (on loan from Arsenal)

Country: England

Best stats: 15 work rate, 15 dribbling, 15 acceleration

Value: £14 million

Wage: £30,000 a week

Reiss Nelson was very much on the outside looking in at Arsenal, making just 16 appearances for the club over the last two seasons. He has been given his chance on loan at Hoffenheim and has grabbed it with both hands, scoring five goals and grabbing one assist in his first six Bundesliga games.

A 132 CA for the England U21 international can rise to a 157 potential, so expect increases to his 15 work rate, 15 dribbling and 15 acceleration. To sign him you will need to wait until his loan spell finishes, with his current value being £14 million with wages of £30,000 a week.

Jacob Bruun Larsen (CA 135 – PA 155)

Age: 19

Positions: M (RL), AM (RL)

Club: Borussia Dortmund

Country: Denmark

Best stats: 16 work rate, 16 off the ball, 16 natural fitness

Value: £10.8 million

Wage: £8,000 a week

Staying in Germany, Jacob Bruun Larsen is being given plenty of opportunity this season, despite heaps of attacking talent available at Borussia Dortmund. The Denmark U21 international has made nine appearances for the club this term, scoring three goals and picking up two assists.

Bruun Larsen is valued just under £11 million with wages of £8,000 a week, making him worth an approach given his 135 CA and 155 potential. The right midfielder or winger has stats of 16 work rate, 16 off the ball and 16 natural fitness on the game.

Ferran Torres (CA 115 – PA 150-180)

Age: 18

Positions: AM (R)

Club: Valencia

Country: Spain

Best stats: 18 determination, 15 flair, 15 first touch

Value: £1.3 million

Wage: £10,000 a week

A bright talent in Spain, Ferran Torres is slowly building up the appearances for Valencia aged just 18. The right winger has pulled on the white shirt of the club 23 times over the past two seasons, and just needs to work on his end product with only two assists to his name in that time.

The Spain U19 international has 18 determination, 15 flair and 15 first touch on FM 19, giving him a CA of 115. That can rise to a potential between 150 and 180, meaning he is valued at £1.3 million with wages of £10,000 a week.

Left wingers (AML) and left midfielders (ML)

There are some top stars on the left wing who are beginning to show their quality on both sides of the Atlantic.

Jadon Sancho (CA 137 – PA 175)

Age: 18

Positions: M (LR), AM (LR)

Club: Borussia Dortmund

Country: England

Best stats: 18 agility, 17 acceleration, 16 flair

Value: £14 million

Wage: £34,000 a week

Arguably the most in-form English player at the minute, Jadon Sancho is taking Germany by storm in 2018/19. The former Manchester City academy player joined Borussia Dortmund last season, and has made his mark this year. In 15 appearances in all competitions the left winger or midfielder has five goals and eight assists, earning him a first England cap in October having skipped past the U20 and U21 sides.

Sancho has a 137 CA on FM 19, rising to a 175 potential. The 18-year-old has 18 agility, 17 acceleration and 16 flair and is valued at £14 million with wages of £34,000 a week.

Vinicius Junior (CA 133 – PA 160-190)

Age: 17

Positions: AM (L)

Club: Real Madrid

Country: Brazil

Best stats: 18 determination, 16 acceleration, 16 agility

Value: £4.5 million

Wage: £92,000 a week

A rapid rise for Vinicius Junior, who has earned himself a move to Real Madrid aged just 17. The left winger picked up 49 appearances for previous club Flamengo, scoring 10 goals, which saw him seal a £40 million switch to the Bernabeu. A goal and two assists inside his first four appearances for Los Merengues shows the Brazilian is living up to the hype.

Vinicius, a Brazil U20 international, can improve from a 133 CA to a potential between 160 and 190. Don’t get your hopes up by his £4.5 million value, as you will need plenty of cash to sign him as well as his £92,000 a week wages for stats of 18 determination, 16 acceleration and 16 agility.

Rodrygo (CA 130 – PA 160-190)

Age: 17

Positions: AM (L), ST

Club: Santos (joining Real Madrid on 1st July 2019)

Country: Brazil

Best stats: 15 technique, 15 first touch, 15 flair

Value: £1.9 million

Wage: £5,000 a week

Another teenager Brazilian who will be on his way to Real Madrid, Rodrygo will add to the growing wide options in the Spanish capital. The left winger has netted six league goals and three assists for Santos in the league in 2018, and has four goals across six games in the Brazil youth setup.

Valued at £1.9 million with wages of £5,000 a week, Rodrygo will still be tough to sign given his impending move to Real. Stats of 15 technique, 15 first touch and 15 flair still have plenty of growth in them, with the teenager able to improve from a 130 CA to a potential between 160 and 190.

Paulinho (CA 132 – PA 150-180)

Age: 17

Positions: M (L), AM (L), ST

Club: Bayer Leverkusen

Country: Brazil

Best stats: 15 movement, 15 bravery, 15 balance

Value: £9 million

Wage: £26,000 a week

A Brazilian in Germany, Paulinho has less senior football under his belt than most of the other wonderkids, but back in his homeland he was superb. The 17-year-old scored five goals and picked up three assists for Vasco da Gama, earning a switch to Bayer Leverkusen in the summer, where he has since made eight appearances.

Paulinho, who is in the Brazil U20 squad, has 15 movement, 15 bravery and 15 balance in his game on Football Manager 2019. That takes him to a 132 CA with the potential to reach a score between 150 and 180, valuing him at £9 million with wages of £26,000 a week.

Antonio Marin (CA 109 – PA 150-180)

Age: 17

Positions: AM (L)

Club: Dinamo Zagreb

Country: Croatia

Best stats: 18 flair, 17 dribbling, 14 technique

Value: £200,000

Wage: £1,000 a week

Going off-piste to Croatia, Antonio Marin has a fantastic reputation despite representing the Dinamo Zagreb first team just four times. The 17-year-old earned 27 caps for Croatia U17s, scoring seven goals, which has seen him progress to the U19s, for whom he has two goals in three appearances.

Aged only 17, Marin is a great signing if you are looking to pick up a wonderkid early, with a value of just £200,000 and wages of £1,000 a week. 18 flair, 17 dribbling and 14 pace lift him to a 109 CA, but this can hit a potential anywhere between 150 and 180.
