NBA 2K23 Update 1.006 Patch Notes are already on the way despite the game only being a few days out from the most recent download.
Here's everything we know about the NBA 2K23 Update 1.006 Patch Notes and what's been addressed in the latest next gen arrival.
NBA 2K23 Update 1.006 Patch Notes arrive today (September 21)
While NBA 2K23 has been available worldwide for less than two weeks, 2K has been scrambling to fix bugs and glitches since then.
Much of NBA 2K23 runs as expected, but lingering problems in MyCAREER have caused the biggest issues.
Just two short days after releasing NBA 2K23 Update 1.02 and 1.005, we've now got the sudden arrival of NBA 2K23 Update 1.006.
Download size is not yet known, but this appears to be a next gen exclusive update deploying only on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Despite releasing multiple updates, 2K has actually chosen not to release official Patch Notes so far, and it's looking like something fans will have to get used to for the time being.
The company hasn't dropped an actual Courtside Report since launch, and the most anyone has gotten in an official capacity has been a few tweets from the NBA 2K account.
MyCAREER quest fixes in The City are likely top priority
It's become more and more clear that NBA 2K23 is just as interested, if not more, in making money off players in MyCAREER as it does in MyTEAM.
While the collecting challenge of MyTEAM influencing players to buy packs and chase cards isn't new, the cost of MyCAREER continues to rise.
We took a deeper dive into this recently and revealed that the cost to max out your MyPLAYER nearly doubled this year compared to NBA 2K22.
Players have begun reporting that some of these issues may have been resolved by NBA 2K23 Update 1.006, but without confirmed patch notes there's only so much we can really know.
At this rate, we should see another new update in a few days, and maybe 2K will remember to release patch notes by then.
