NBA 2K22 Update 1.09 Current Gen Patch Note

With the launch of Season 4 looming just over the horizon, NBA 2K22 Update 1.09 has now already arrived and is confirmed to be deployed on Current Gen.

There have been some big changes to current gen systems, so we've decided to attach all of the current gen patch notes below.

MyCAREER/QUESTS

  • Continued fixes and adjustments have been made to improve the overall quest experience and ensure that all quests are tracking and completing properly
  • Fixed a rare issue that could cause long loading times going into the first affiliation game on the Knights rooftop court

MyTEAM

  • Resolved an end of game issue when Clutch Time games ended with a sudden death free throw in overtime
  • Addressed occasional clipping issues that could occur with certain cameras in Clutch Time games

  • Continued stability fixes and improvements have been made for MyNBA, MyNBA Online, and The W

NBA 2K22 Update 1.09 Release Date

As always, each NBA 2K22 update brings new ratings, new patch notes, and better functionality for the game. This update will likely bring a lot more though because of Season 4.

The last patch update was on December 1st, 2021, at the start of Season 3. We initially expected NBA 2K22 Update 1.09 to be released on January 14, 2022, at the start of Season 4, but it's hit a bit earlier on January 10, 2022.

There are some key changes we expect to see once the NBA 2K22 update is ready to download. Also, you could be saying goodbye to some of your favorite sets.

What to do before Season 3 is over

If you're looking to make the most out of Season 3 before the NBA 2K22 Update 1.09, there are a few things you can do to earn some extra XP.
