There's just no debate about the top two 3-point shooters in the NBA, and NBA 2K22 is ready to reinforce that conversation in a big way.

When it comes to shooting threes, there's Steph Curry, and then there's Klay Thompson, and then there's everyone else in the NBA.

Unsurprisingly, it's prolific offensive genius Steph Curry who takes the very top spot, and when you look at his stats it's really no surprise.

Through a decade of play, Steph Curry has managed a mind-boggling 43.3% 3-point percentage, and with just a few years less we've seen Klay Thompson hold an impressive 41.9% 3-point percentage.

At a glance, it might seem like they'd find themselves much closer in 3-point rating considering how similar their percentage is, but there's one set of numbers that makes the gap clear.

Klay Thompson is a beast with 1,798 career 3-pointers since being the 11th pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, and that's something no one can take away from him.

Meanwhile, Steph Curry, who was the 7th pick in the 2009 NBA Draft (just two years earlier) has an absolutely staggering 2,832 career 3-pointers.

Thompson may raise some eyebrows by being placed this high, but the only thing in question is whether he can remain healthy through this season.

Plagued with injuries the last few years, Thompson is still an amazing 3-point shooter, and he's earned the opportunity to start this season as one of the best in NBA 2K22.

They've definitely proven themselves worthy of this list, and the fact that they're so far from a 99 3pt rating is more of an endorsement of how insanely good Steph Curry is than an indictment of those who couldn't reach that level.
