NBA 2K19: 2007-2008 Boston Celtics Player Ratings and Roster

Before the current loaded Celtics existed, this historic squad terrorized the NBA.


One of the better years for this franchise, the Boston Celtics were able to crush the competition, going 66-16 to clinch the first place in the Atlantic Division of the NBA. they then went on to play in some close sets in the playoffs, winning against the Atlanta hawks 4-3, the Cleveland Cavaliers 4-3, the Detroit Pistons 4-2, and the Los Angeles Lakers 4-2 in the finals.

Paul Pierce, SF/PF (92)

Age: 30

Position: Small Forward, Power Forward

Height: 6’7”

Traits: Two-Way Star

Best stats: Lateral Quickness, 3PT, Layups

Paul Pierce is one of the most noted players on this roster. In the 07-08 season, he held the Finals MVP award after a stellar run in the playoffs. He was able to average 19.6 points per game, as well as 4.5 assists per game, while still getting 1.3 steals per game as a defensive player.

Kevin Garnett, PF/C (91)

Kevin Garnett had most of his years with the Minnesota Timberwolves, but was traded at the beginning of the 07-08 season to the Celtics. Averaging a strong 18.8 points, he also averaged 9.2 rebounds per game, as well as a staggering 1.4 steals and 1.3 blocks per game, making sure that he solidified his strengths on the defensive side.

Another strong scorer for the Celtics roster, Ray Allen is always a name that can be said with confidence about the past greats. Averaging 17.4 points even on his off years, he held 3.7 rebounds per game, as well as 3.1 assists per game averaged. The scariest part about him was his efficiency, as he held a .537 eFG%.

Rajon Rondo, PG (84)

Position: Point Guard

As he was quite a bit younger than most, the 07-08 year did quite a bit to boost his notoriety in the scene. In his second professional year, he was on the winning championship team, marking his way for his career, even though he was mediocre at best.
