NBA 2K League: Top Players in Points in 2018 Season

Similar to the NBA, players and fans alike love to see the ball go through the net. Scoring points is easily one of the most valued stats in basketball and the game’s top achievers. These players found glory on their teams in the form of offensive powerhouses.

Top Scorers in the League

Boo Painter, PF

Points Averaged: 32.3

Boo Painter was the league’s leading scorer last season, but will not be joining any teams during the 2019 season. In November, the league announced that he would be removed from Wizards District Gaming and no longer eligible to compete in the league due to violating the player code of conduct. The league has since removed Boo Painter’s profile from the league page.

Brandon “Hood” Caicedo played for T-Wolves Gaming during the league's inaugural season, after being selected by the team in the first round at 16th overall. The league expanding this upcoming season, Hood was retained by the team in hopes of a repeat performance. During the 2018 season, Hood averaged 29.2 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.9 assists and 2.5 steals per game.

With averages of 29 points, 7.2 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 1 block and 1.7 steals per game, Hotshot was a well-rounded superstar during the 2018 season.

As the number one overall pick for Mavs Gaming, it is no wonder why they retained him for the 2019 season. With averages of 22.1 points, 11.4 assists and 3.2 steals per game, Dimez was an electric player at the point guard position all year long.
