Boo Painter, PF

Boo Painter was the league’s leading scorer last season, but will not be joining any teams during the 2019 season. In November, the league announced that he would be removed from Wizards District Gaming and no longer eligible to compete in the league due to violating the player code of conduct. The league has since removed Boo Painter’s profile from the league page.

Hood, PG

Team: Wolves Gaming

Points Averaged: 29.2

Brandon “Hood” Caicedo played for T-Wolves Gaming during the league’s inaugural season, after being selected by the team in the first round at 16th overall. The league expanding this upcoming season, Hood was retained by the team in hopes of a repeat performance. During the 2018 season, Hood averaged 29.2 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.9 assists and 2.5 steals per game.

Hotshot, C

Team: Heat Check Gaming

Height: 7’1”

Points Averaged: 29.0

Juan “Hotshot” Gonzalez was the top pick for Heat Check Gaming and will be retained for this upcoming season. As the number seven overall pick, he did not disappoint. With averages of 29 points, 7.2 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 1 block and 1.7 steals per game, Hotshot was a well-rounded superstar during the 2018 season.

Team: Grizz Gaming

Height: 7’1”

Points Averaged: 26.4

Grizz Gaming found some value in AuthenticAfrican in the early part of the second round. With averages of 26.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, 9.1 assists and 2.3 steals per game, Mehyar Ahmed-Hassan was not your prototypical big man. Grizz Gaming have retained him for this upcoming season.

Dimez, PG

Team: Mavs Gaming

Points Averaged: 22.1

Artreyo “Dimez” Boyd was a dual threat at the point guard position, with his ability to score and assist unmatched. As the number one overall pick for Mavs Gaming, it is no wonder why they retained him for the 2019 season. With averages of 22.1 points, 11.4 assists and 3.2 steals per game, Dimez was an electric player at the point guard position all year long.
