In November, the league announced that he would be removed from Wizards District Gaming and no longer eligible to compete in the league due to violating the player code of conduct. Juan “Hotshot” Gonzalez was the top pick for Heat Check Gaming and will be retained for this upcoming season. As the number seven overall pick, he did not disappoint. With averages of 29 points, 7.2 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 1 block and 1.7 steals per game, Hotshot was a well-rounded superstar during the 2018 season.
