Tsushima is under attack - in 4K and 60FPS - and you can now fight off the Mongol Invasion on your PS5 with Ghost of Tsushima's Director's Cut release. If you're struggling to upgrade to the Director's Cut, though, you're not alone. Here's everything you need to know.
UPDATE - You should be able to upgrade now!
For some reason, the PS5 upgrade for Ghost of Tsushima to the Director's Cut was locked until release day. You could pre-order the PS4 version of the Director's Cut and the full game, but if you wanted to upgrade from Ghost of Tsushima on PS4 to Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut on PS5, you have had to wait.
Now though, you can get the upgrade from the PS Store! You should be able to find it as a downloadable add-on for Ghost of Tsushima PS4. If not, then you'll need to insert your physical Ghost of Tsushima disc for the PS4 version of the game. You can still get the PS5 version at a discount, but you'll need to keep your PS4 disc as a sort of "key" to unlock access to it. It's annoying, but that's how it is.
