The Price Of The Director's Cut Is Justified

You might think $30 is a lot considering there are a lot of games out there offering next-gen upgrades for free, but the price is justified.

The Director's Cut comes with quite a few extras on top of the standard next-gen improvements. Mainly, the Iki Island Expansion is only available with a Director's Cut version of the game.

This adds a new Island to the game which has its' own storylines, enemies, environments, and adventure. It will be available alongside the main Ghost of Tsushima story in a similar fashion to how Frozen Wilds was added to Horizon: Zero Dawn.

In addition to this, players get access to the following:

  • Director's Commentary
    • The creative team sits down with a renowned Japanese historian to look at the world of Ghost of Tsushima and how it compares to the real-life events that inspired it.
  • Hero of Tsushima Skin Set
    • Golden Mask, Sword Kit, Horse Saddle, & Armour
  • In-Game Items
    • 1x Technique Point, Charm of Hachiman's Favor
  • Digital Mini Art Book
    • From Dark Horse
