LATEST - Roster Update brings a boost to multiple players
The latest roster update for Madden 22 has been released and Cordarrelle Patterson was a player that received a huge boost to his Madden 22 overall rating.
He isn't the only player to receive a boost to his rating either, multiple players saw a sizable boost. Colt McCoy, Baker Mayfield, and James Connor each received an increase.

Face of the Franchise: United We Rise
Madden 22 brings back the single player campaign mode Face of the Franchise once again, and a new year brings a new story and subtitle.
Last year, we saw Face of the Franchise: Rise to Fame focus on your player trying to overcome the adversity of being the number one overall draft pick.
While we're still playing through Face of the Franchise: United We Rise in Madden 22, the experience has been fun despite certain flaws and bugs popping up.
More positions are available!
Perhaps the biggest change is that you'll no longer be restricted to choosing a quarterback, wide receiver, or running back.
For the first time, Face of the Franchise will now allow players to play as a linebacker to find NFL superstardom as a defensive beast.
There will be a brand new class system, and new player physiques will allow you to customize ratings, skills, attributes, and body type in all new ways.
Finally, they've added unified progression which lets your avatar and all progress, reward, and gear to be shared with The Yard in Madden 22.
EA puts out a fix for Face of the Franchise
Finally, we're getting fixes for some of the bugs that have plagued Madden 22 since it launched in mid-August.
Face of the Franchise players should be happy to find out they can download the most recent version available TODAY! Be sure to do it quickly though because it could take a while.
Here are some fixes coming to Face of the Franchise:
- Updated Draft logic to avoid having two QBs drafted in the first round on the same team
- Fixed an issue where Madden profile widget disappears after coming out of gameplay
- Fixed an issue where incorrect reward images appeared in post-game flows
