Genshin Impact Resin: Refresh Rates, How To Use, and How To Get Fragile Resin

Genshin Impact has single-handedly reignited our love of open-world games with cute anime characters and gacha mechanics.

Alright, maybe it's actually just ignited that very specific love, but we're still very much into it.

The gameplay is a huge amount of fun, there's plenty to do, and the world is beautiful.

Have no fear

There are a lot of systems within Genshin Impact that can be a little terrifying on first glance.

If you're not familiar with this style of game then you'll likely feel overwhelmed by lots of the things you'll come across.

One of those systems is the Resin system, so we thought we'd help you out and break it all down for you.

What is Genshin Impact Resin?

Resin is a bit like energy in other games. It's something that limits your ability to take part in some of the activities in the game.

RESTORE THAT RESIN - Resin acts as energy to keep playing

There's a maximum limit of 120, and it regens at a rate of 1 per minute. However, there are ways to speed that up.

What can you use Genshin Impact Resin on?

Resin only really comes into play once you're fairly deep into the game itself.

You need it for Ley Line Outcrops, Abyssal Domains, Elite Bosses, and of course, the Weekly Bosses.

Again, you might not have even reached the point where you're taking part in these events, but you will at some point, and you'll want to have a good hard think about your Resin management when you do.

How to get more Genshin Impact Resin

Well, the easiest way to get more Resin is to simply log off, have a good night's sleep, and then spend a bunch more time in Genshin Impact the next day.

However, it's unlikely that's the answer you're looking for here, so you'll be happy to know that's not the only way.

LEVEL UP - Fragile Resin can increase your Resin levels

The faster way to get more Resin is to buy an item called Fragile Resin.

This item grants you 60 Resin upon use, and you'll get one when you increase your Adventure Rank.

We recommend saving these until you absolutely need them though.

The other way is to use Primogens to restore 60 Resin.

You get Primogens constantly for doing basically anything in the game, but the Resin boosts get more and more expensive the more you get, so we don't recommend doing this more than once a day.
