Call of Duty Zombies: New Map Teased by Treyarch for COD Black Ops Cold War

Treyarch have got the entire Call of Duty community brainstorming to figure out what a new Call of Duty Zombies teaser means - and most things point to a new map.

So what could this new map mean for Call of Duty Zombies?

Call of Duty Zombies Map Teased by Treyarch

Treyarch have taken to Twitter to tease what looks to be a new map for Call of Duty Zombies in Black Ops Cold War.

The map appears to be a military outpost, and text like "Omega Portal Chamber: This is where the portal is maintained to the Dark Aether" give us high hopes at some of the possibilities in the map's story and environments.

Timeline

While the teaser from Treyarch doesn't come with a time frame, we expect if this map is being teased now, we'll know more about it by the end of January.

Many fans are guessing that this map will be a big feature in Call of Duty Season 2 in Black Ops Cold War and Warzone. This, however, could be a long wait - as estimates suggest Call of Duty Season 2 will arrive around 24 February.

Either way, we expect this will be the next big piece of new content for Call of Duty Zombies outside of some maintenance and hotfix patches.
