WWE 2K23 has finally arrived and we're pleased to report that this year's game is truly one of the best wrestling games we've ever played.
From insane graphics to endless customisation options, this year's game is a true triumph for 2K and the wider WWE Universe.
With that in mind, there will undoubtedly be some bugs that crop up throughout the game's cycle, with 2K likely to release updates in the coming weeks and months.
All that considered, let's take a look at when the next update could arrive for WWE 2K23.
WWE 2K23: When does the next update come out?
Unlike other games, 2K don't tend to release an update schedule for their games.
As mentioned above, there's every chance that players and developers are discovering bugs and glitches that need fixing across all of WWE 2K23's major modes.
There's no need to panic, as we're certain that 2K are working hard to improve the game further.
A minor update was released on launch day for the game, with further updates set to release in the coming weeks and months.
No dates have been confirmed yet, but it's looking like we could see major updates arriving alongside the DLC releases for WWE 2K23.
We'll keep this page updated for any fresh news on the arrival of new updates in WWE 2K23.
WWE 2K23 update 1.08 patch notes
As mentioned above, patch 1.08 addressed many bugs, and gameplay issues the game had. It improved the collision system, with the AI also being massively improved throughout all game modes.
However, this patch didn't only fix gameplay bugs. It updated many moves and introduced new ones, such as the Slingshot Lariat, Punt Kick, and Superplex 4. Fixed the entrances, and victory celebrations of a plethora of wrestlers such as Roman Reigns and Damage CTRL.
The entrances are now the same as the ones Superstars do in reality, making WWE 2K23 more immersive. Some entrances and victory scenes were also updated, but fans noticed they weren't quite the same as the ones in real life. The Bloodline victory scene is one of those.
WWE 2K23 patch 1.08 also added many new attires, such as the Finn Balor and Damien Priest Judgement Day Attire, or the Randy Orton 2013 attire.
The Universe mode received many fixes and some new features as well. Trio entrances were added, and custom movesets now finally work in rivalries. Entrances in the mode have the championship generic motions, and even the match screen for creating a match was improved.
