It's almost time for our first taste of World of Warcraft's next expansion, Dragonflight, with its upcoming pre patch now just hours out.
Similar to new expansions in the past, Dragonflight will introduce tons of new content and features to shake the game up. With the pre patch, players can expect to get their hands on tons of the major changes long before launch day to prepare. This includes anything from the Dracthyr, and its race-specific class, and the new zone of the Dragon Isles, to the revamping of the Talent and Profession systems. The pre patch will also signify Shadowlands Season 4's end.

WoW Dragonflight Pre Patch Release Date & Time
World of Warcraft: Dragonflight's pre patch will go live on Tuesday, October 25, 2022.
Players can expect the update to be in-game following the weekly reset maintenance which is scheduled to start at 10 am EST to end at 6 pm EST. The length of this server downtime is a rough estimate based on previous releases, meaning that servers could go live before or after the time allotted by Blizzard.

WoW Dragonflight Pre Patch Phase Schedule
Similar to other pre-patches in World of Warcraft's past, WoW Dragonflight's gameplay tweaks will be available from the very beginning.
For Dragonflight specifically, Blizzard will adopt a new method when it comes to releasing its content, separating it into two phases—Phase One and Phase Two. WoW Dragonflight pre patch phase 1 launches on October 25th and Phase 2 launches on November 15th.
