World of Warcraft's newest expansion, Dragonflight, is coming in hot with tons of new content and features, one of which will be the addition of new race and class combinations.
Although the new expansion is set to make many significant changes and additions to the MMORPG, something that goes by the wayside is how many race and class combinations will exist now that some restrictions have been freed up.
That being said, here are all of the new race and class combinations in Dragonflight.
All of the new race and class combinations in World of Warcraft Dragonflight
There are a total of 12 playable classes currently in World of Warcraft—soon to be 13 when the Evoker releases in Dragonflight. In comparison, there are 24 races players can choose from, 12 a piece for both the Alliance and the Horde which will receive an addition to each faction once the Dracthyr release. Apart from Hunters, Warriors, and Death Knights, not every race can be every class, however, that will change with the new expansion.
With Dragonflight, three classes, namely Rogue, Mage, and Priest, will be available to all races—yes this means Tauren Rogues and Tauren Mages will finally be a thing.
Here are all of the race and class combinations coming in Dragonflight:
- Tauren Mage
- Highmountain Tauren Mage
- Orc Priest
- Highmountain Tauren Priest
- Tauren Rogue
- Highmountain Tauren Rogue
- Draenei Rogue
- Lightforged Draenei Rogue
Players can expect all of these new race and class combinations to be live once the Dragonflight pre-patch releases, as they will be part of Phase One which will launch on Tuesday, October 25, 2022. Apart from the new race and class combinations, this phase will focus on adding the system and feature updates and revamps such as the new Talent System, Heads-up Display User Interface (HUD UI) changes, and accessibility features, and will also introduce Rated Solo Shuffle.
