WoW Dragonflight Pre Patch Content
Seeing as the next expansion is packed with new content and features, its pre patch will follow suit and will be divided into two phases for the first time yet as a result.
Phase Schedule
Phase One will focus on adding the system and feature updates and revamps such as the new Talent System, Heads-up Display User Interface (HUD UI) changes, and accessibility features, and will also introduce Rated Solo Shuffle as well as new Class and Race combinations.
Phase Two, on the other hand, will bring on the new race, the Dracthyr, and its race-specific class, the Evoker with their starting zone, the Forbidden Reach, a new dungeon, Uldaman: Legacy of Tyr, and kick off the pre patch's official event, Primal Storms.
Dracthyr Race, Evoker Class
As confirmed by Blizzard, the Dracthyr and its race-specific class, the Evoker, will become playable during the pre patch.
The Dracthyr Evokoer will also receive their own set of Covenant Abilities and Legendary Power. They will not be anything creative as they will only provide stats boosts, akin to Demon Hunter Hellfire Citadel Tier Sets in Warlords of Draenor.

Talent System Update
One of the biggest features coming to Dragonflight is the updates and changes to the Talent System.
With the new Talent System update, players will wave goodbye to the current system as they know it, and instead, welcome two expansive trees: a Class Tree and a Specialization tree.
The first tree, or the "class tree," contains a core set of abilities that are available to all specs in a class, an example of this would be utility-based abilities. It's a place where, if the player so chooses, they can draw from spells or passives from other specs to give their class a "hybrid flavor."
The second tree, or the "specialization tree," gets into the nitty-gritty of the spec. It's focused on bonuses that enhance the class' chosen role and gives the option to give up certain aspects of their class in return for more power somewhere else.
New HUD UI Changes
Going alongside new content and system updates, the whole user interface will receive an overhaul. From bars and icons to the map, and more—everything will have a new look.
A lot of what could be done with UI addons such as ElvUI, Bartender, and more, will be possible all within the game's own UI, and then some. Additionally, not only will you be able to customize your UI to your liking, it'll be all easy to do; no more having to keep addons up to date.
New Race & Class Combinations
Topping the pre-patch off will be the new race and class combinations. Classes such as Mages, Rogues, and Priests will all be usable no matter the race. Yes, this means that Tauren will be sneaking around as Rogues, or throwing frost or fire bolts.
Like the Warrior and most recently, the Death Knight, every race will be able to play Mage, Rogue, and Priest.
Primal Storms Event
During the WoW Dragonflight Primal Storms pre patch event, hordes of Primalist mobs will invade specific zones across Azeroth. They will spawn in certain areas that will be marked on the minimap, similar to other past pre-patch events, with a mini-event occurring approximately every 30 minutes.
An Elemental Lord will spawn during this mini-event and it, alongside other mobs nearby, will become imbued with the invading element, subsequently dropping the event's currency, Primeval Essence.
In order to kill the Elemental Lord, players will have to remove a shield which can be done by taking down 100 imbued mobs surrounding the area. Once the shield is gone, the Elemental Lord can be killed for Primeval Essences.
These can be used for several rewards such as catch-up gear, a toy, heirlooms, and more.
