We're hoping to learn more about NBA 2K23 MyTEAM very soon. At the moment, however, the news is slightly dry.
With that being said, there are a few things that we'd like to see when the game releases. We're going to list a few of those things below.
Let's take a look at what we want to see in NBA 2K23 MyTEAM.
What we want to see in NBA 2K23 MyTEAM
As we near September, we'll get closer to learning even more about NBA 2K23 MyTEAM. Frankly, there are a few things we'd like to see when it releases.
Clutch Time was a favorite during NBA 2K22 and we hope that it returns when NBA 2K23 releases. We'd also like to see a few additional game modes added. Perhaps a 2-on-2 position-locked game mode would be fun.
Triple Threat was a great game mode in NBA 2K22 and will likely return since it was so popular. However, we'd like to see a lot better matchmaking in multiplayer for NBA 2K23 MyTEAM.
Here are a few other things we'd like to see:
- More Skill Challenges that offer free packs
- Locker Code Challenges
- A 2V2 Game Mode
- A classic set featuring some of the oldest HOF NBA players
Now, let's take a look at the potential release date which might've been leaked during a recent tweet.

NBA 2K23 Release Date Leaked
In a tweet, there was a leak that showed a potential release date of NBA 2K23. It looks as if it's pretty accurate too because it lines up with former releases.
In the image, you can see that the NBA 2K23 release date is set for September 16, 2022. This lines up with the third Friday of the month, similar to last year.
One of the first things we'll see, similar to last year, is a reveal trailer for NBA 2K23 and NBA 2K23 MyTEAM.
Once we start to get more reveals we'll be sure to let you know. We'll also let you know once the release date is revealed for the game.
