Sifu is a pretty brutal game with hardcore combat and interesting environments. Needless to say, you are going to need a lot of time to fully master it. If you're looking to get in there and become the best fighter, here's when you can start and what you need to know.
Sifu Release Date
Sifu has a bit of a staggered release date, depending on which version of the game you buy. For those who preordered the right version, the game is already playable. Those who didn't pay quite as much don't have access just yet.
Here's what you should know about the different versions of the game. They are:
- Standard Edition - This comes with the standard preorder bonuses like an avatars pack and the cinematic pack for Sifu's photo mode. It can be a pretty good looking game so this isn't a bad bonus. This releases February 8th
- Deluxe Edition - This comes with all of the above plus a digital artbook, digital soundtrack and 48-hour early access. Buying this gave players access to the game on February 8th.
Regardless of if you play the game on PC or PlayStation, these same bonuses apply. Those playing on PlayStation had some issues downloading and playing the game early but this problem seems to have fixed itself.
If you still can't get in there, try downloading the game through the app rather than the PlayStation itself.
Sifu Release Time
Sifu will release at midnight on February 8th, your time. The servers have a system that relies on your own PlayStation's clock and the region of your account so you can play it from midnight. If it doesn't work from the minute it is supposed to, give it a minute and try turning your PlayStation on and off again.
Eventually, the game should let you start it. You're gonna need a lot of time to properly master it.
